// About VORYX
Senior Offshore Engineering,
Built by People Who Have Executed.
VORYX combines senior offshore engineering expertise with practical project execution experience to deliver technically robust, commercially practical, and execution-focused solutions across the offshore energy sector.
We are an independent offshore engineering and project delivery consultancy founded by senior practitioners with hands-on careers inside major operators, EPC contractors, offshore installation companies and fabrication yards. Our work bridges engineering studies and real offshore execution — not theoretical consultancy.
Across our team, we bring more than 50 years of combined offshore and project execution experience across the full asset lifecycle: concept and FEED, detailed design, fabrication and load-out supervision, offshore installation, commissioning, and late-life abandonment and decommissioning. Our delivery footprint spans Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Australia, Africa and Europe.
Senior Practitioners
Pipeline Technical Authorities, EPC Project Managers and Fabrication Site Reps — not junior engineers learning on your project.
Operator + EPC DNA
Careers built inside major operators, Tier-1 EPCs, installation contractors and offshore yards — we speak every interface fluently.
Studies that Build
Every deliverable is screened against fabricability, installability and offshore execution — engineering that survives contact with the sea.
Lean Consultancy Model
Senior-led, low-overhead delivery — faster decisions, fewer hand-offs, and clear commercial accountability versus large engineering houses.

// Why VORYX
Why Choose
VORYX
Studies are screened against real fabrication, transportation and installation constraints — engineering that builds, not engineering that files.
Our team has supervised offshore campaigns, yard fabrication and load-outs first-hand — not just from an office.
Careers built inside major operators, Tier-1 EPCs, installation contractors and offshore fabrication yards — fluent on every side of the contract.
Senior-led delivery, minimal overhead and short decision chains — faster turnarounds and clear commercial accountability.
One partner from FEED through ITT, fabrication and offshore execution — no expensive hand-offs between study house and execution team.
Platform, subsea and pipeline abandonment, P&A concepts, comparative assessments and OSPAR / NOPSEMA / BSEE-aligned strategy.
CAPEX / OPEX framing, value engineering and ITT preparation built into the engineering — not bolted on afterwards.
Nonlinear FEA, lateral buckling & pipeline walking, SAFEBUCK methodology, strain-based design and ECA aligned with DNV / API / ISO / AS2885.

The People Behind the Work
Offshore engineering is relationship-driven. You are not hiring a logo — you are hiring senior practitioners with a track record of safe, commercially sound offshore delivery.
VORYX is led by a team of senior offshore engineers and project delivery practitioners with 50+ years of combined field experience across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Australia, Africa and European offshore basins. Our team members have delivered the full offshore lifecycle — from concept selection and FEED through EPCI execution, brownfield modification, integrity management, and end-of-field decommissioning — for national oil companies, international majors, and independent operators.
Our engineering leadership combines chartered and professional engineers with post-graduate qualifications, PMP-certified project directors, and offshore-qualified (BOSIET / OPITO) practitioners. Between them, they have served as Pipeline Technical Authority for portfolios exceeding 800 subsea pipelines, led decommissioning FEED covering 27 platforms and 32 pipelines for a major Middle East operator, delivered a world-first 32-inch cladded mechanically-lined pipe in the Caspian, and supported CCUS and CO₂-injection developments in Southeast Asia and Brazil.
The team's operational DNA is drawn equally from operator technical authority roles, Tier-1 EPC and EPCI delivery, and hands-on fabrication yard leadership across Batam, Jebel Ali, Zait Bay and the Egyptian Mediterranean yards. That combination — of client-side rigour, contractor-side delivery discipline, and yard-floor practicality — is why VORYX clients receive advice that is technically robust, commercially grounded, and executable in the real offshore environment.
